Meet Adam Stephens – Your Career Guide

I know firsthand how burnout can creep in—even when your career looks successful on paper.

I grew up in Louisiana, surrounded by a vibrant mix of spirituality, college football, and the warmth of Southern hospitality. From a young age, I was drawn to helping people—so I pursued psychology and philosophy at LSU, hoping to understand the human experience on a deeper level.

After graduation, my path led me to a hospital job that was anything but glamorous: entry-level, demanding, and high-pressure. But it was there, in the midst of real human struggles, that I found purpose. I advanced to become a respiratory practitioner, thriving in the adrenaline-charged environment of ERs and ICUs.

Yet with each promotion and pay raise, something inside me felt increasingly misaligned. I transitioned into medical sales for a large national healthcare company—a role that looked successful from the outside but left me feeling disconnected and restless. The constant hustle and corporate expectations drained my energy and left me questioning my path.

I found myself anxious, overwhelmed, and stuck in a cycle of burnout that felt inescapable. But small, intentional practices—long walks, strength training, breathwork, and meditation—helped me reconnect with what truly mattered. I realized I had been living by other people’s expectations instead of my own.

With a young family and a renewed sense of purpose, I made a promise to myself: I would live intentionally, even if it meant starting over. That’s when I discovered professional coaching—and everything clicked.

From Healthcare to Helping People: My Story

In 2019 I trained with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and became a certified professional coach in 2019. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping high-achieving professionals navigate burnout, career transitions, and leadership challenges. My coaching isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about building sustainable momentum, grounded in your values, strengths, and lifestyle.

Through my journey, I developed The RESET Framework—a 90-day coaching experience that helps professionals realign their work with who they are now. It’s structured, supportive, and designed to help you thrive without burning out again.

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, you’re not alone. My mission is to guide you through your own reset by helping you find clarity, rebuild your energy, and create a career that supports the life you want.

Let’s build a career—and a life—that works for you.
