From a young age, I felt a vast connection with others.

Growing up in Louisiana, I was raised in a melting pot of spirituality, college football, and Creole spices. I studied psychology and philosophy at LSU, and, like many young people post-graduation, I was cruising along on autopilot.

But I had a problem. I was drinking every day. I was depressed, weighed over 300 pounds, and was a chain smoker. I had developed prediabetes in my mid-twenties, and my doctor warned me I was in a health crisis.

I needed to change my life, but I didn’t know how. Positive affirmations, powerwalking, yoga, and meditation helped me lose some weight and quit smoking. Attending recovery meetings put me on the path toward sobriety and I have remained clean for the last 17 years.

My healthcare career took off, and my wife gave us two beautiful children, but still, as I approached midlife, something was missing.

In 2019, having always been interested in psychology and counseling, I underwent training with the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). Helping individuals recreate their lives has been profoundly rewarding. This is my true calling.

I’ve spent hundreds of hours working with individuals one-on-one and giving public talks. My clients have recreated their careers, found new opportunities after experiencing calamity, become better leaders and romantic partners, recovered from divorce, reignited their creative passions, and reclaimed their health.
