You’re Already in the Right Place, My Friend

I know what it feels like to be stuck. I started out as a humanities nerd, studying philosophy and psychology at LSU. When I graduated right before the financial crisis, grad school wasn’t an option, so I found work wherever I could make a difference.

My first job was on the night shift at a small county hospital. It gave me purpose, and over time I worked my way through the complex world of healthcare, eventually becoming a respiratory therapist.

My career took me from the ER to a trauma ICU to a pediatric rehab hospital. Along the way, I learned resilience, empathy, and the value of teamwork from incredible colleagues who showed up every day to help others.

Eventually, I transitioned into medical sales, using my clinical background to bridge patient care and business. But the long hours, stress, and constant pressure caught up with me.

Being a sales rep wasn’t easy. The compensation was great, but the toll it took on my mood and family life was devastating. As they say, the juice just wasn’t worth the squeeze.

By 2019, I was tired and doubting everything. I had an amazing wife and two wonderful kids. On paper, our life looked perfect, but inside, I knew something had to change.

With my wife’s support, I made the leap. That November, I drove to Chicago for my first iPEC training weekend. What began as a workshop became a calling.

Since then, I’ve earned my certification, built my own coaching framework, and helped clients who, like me, wanted something more sustainable and more real.

Today, I’ve logged thousands of hours coaching individuals and groups, and I speak publicly about burnout, transition, and authentic living.

My approach is simple:

No “tough love.” No shame. Just honest, grounded conversations that get to the root of what’s holding you back.

If my story resonates, let’s explore what working together could look like.
